Walkthrough

How do I connect my YouTube channel?

From the dashboard, open Channels and click Connect. You'll be redirected to Google to grant the YouTube read + upload scopes — the same OAuth flow tools like TubeBuddy and vidIQ use. Refresh tokens are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM and you can disconnect at any time.

What does a video run actually deliver?

Every new upload to a connected channel triggers a full pipeline run: an SEO-optimized title, description, tags, and chapter timestamps; three thumbnail variants at 1280×720; and 3–5 short-form vertical clips at 1080×1920 with burned-in word-level captions. Source videos up to 2 hours are supported. You can also download the raw MP4 and SRT for each clip.

Can I edit and publish the clips?

Yes. Each clip opens in Clip Studio, where you can trim it, drag clips into a new order, restyle the captions with per-word emphasis, switch the aspect ratio (9:16, 1:1, or 16:9), or regenerate the clip with a fresh hook. From there you can publish a clip straight to YouTube, or fan it out to TikTok, Reels, X, and LinkedIn via Blotato.

Can I use my own AI keys?

Yes. In Settings → Integrations you can connect your own Gemini, ElevenLabs, fal.ai, or Apify keys. The AI work then runs on your own provider billing, which lifts the included-video limit so you can process unlimited videos at cost. Keys are encrypted at rest.

How do credits work?

Each pipeline stage consumes credits — SEO=1, thumbnail=2, clip=3 each, captions=2, distribution=1 per platform. A full run reserves 11 credits up front and refunds anything the pipeline doesn't actually use (for example, if there aren't enough clip-worthy hooks in a short video). Subscription credits roll over up to 2× your monthly allowance; top-up credits never expire.

Does it publish for me?

When you're ready. From Clip Studio you publish a finished clip to YouTube with one click or distribute it across other platforms via Blotato, and you can schedule publishes ahead of time. Nothing goes live automatically without your approval.

How long are my generated assets stored?

Thumbnails, clip MP4s, and transcripts are stored in a private Google Cloud Storage bucket and auto-deleted after 7 days. Download anything you want to keep before then.

Where do I see billing?

The Billing page in your dashboard shows your plan, credit balance, and full transaction history. The Stripe Customer Portal — linked from that page — is where you update your card or cancel.

Something went wrong with my video — what now?

Failed jobs auto-refund their reserved credits. The job detail page shows which stage failed and why. If you see repeated failures or anything we haven't covered here, email daftplanet24@gmail.com with the job ID.
